GTA V and San Andreas Cast Share Advice for the Incoming Stars of GTA 6

As the release of Grand Theft Auto 6 approaches, veterans of the franchise have stepped forward to offer words of wisdom to the actors who will portray the upcoming game's protagonists, Jason and Lucia. In a recent interview at MCM Comic Con with All Out Gaming, the actors behind iconic characters from previous titles discussed what the incoming stars should expect once the massive pop-culture title launches.

Wisdom from Past Generations

The panel featured Young Maylay (the voice of CJ in San Andreas), Shawn 'Solo' Fonteno (Franklin in GTA 5), and Ned Luke (Michael De Santa in GTA 5). Reflecting on the scale of the fanbase, the actors emphasized the importance of trusting the development process and handling the sudden surge in public recognition.

Shawn Fonteno advised the future stars to follow Rockstar's guidance, noting that the studio will lead them in the right direction while preparing them for a long-lasting ride. Young Maylay highlighted how different generations connect with different eras of the franchise, observing that actors grow alongside their dedicated player base over time.

Ned Luke stressed the critical role of genuine appreciation for the community. According to Luke, performers must sincerely value the fanbase because the franchise's success is entirely driven by its players.
